R268 Burntwater Rug

Classic Burntwater rug by Navajo weaver Louise Tabaja. The 40” x 59” rug has the creation story with elements pattern.

Navajo Burntwater style rugs originated around Burntwater Trading Post. They share the same pattern as Two Grey Hill and Ganado Red rugs, a diamond pattern with stair stepped cloud designs in the corners. The difference is that Burntwater rugs are all vegetal dyed using many colors.
