Hopi potter Rozelda Kagenveama takes her pottery to 1st Mesa to fire in the traditional Hopi manner. She is known for her classic patterns on white and tan clay pots.

Most of the Hopi potters are from First Mesa, although the white clay pottery is usually from Third Mesa.
