Vintage Zuni Knifewing pin with mother of pearl, coral, turquoise, and jet inlay.Size:  2” x 2”.

The Knifewing is a favorite of the Zuni artists.  He is the hero of many folktales.  The first Knifewing was made into inlay jewelry around 1920, and is said to be one of the first designs the Zuni made into inlay jewelry.

Unsigned:  Jewelry of this age was rarely signed.
