Hand rolled Sugalite beads by Navajo lapidarist Albert Lee. The 18" five strands of hand rolled beads vary in size from eight to twelve millimeters and are interspaced with silver beads. The heavy gauge sterling silver end pieces are stamped with "Albert Lee of Shiprock NM” on one and an image of Shiprock on the other.

Albert Lee from Shiprock, New Mexico has been an active lapidarist since 1993. He learned the art of making jewelry from his father, Alfred Lee. Albert is known for using only the finest high grade stones.
Sugilite (also spelled "sugalite") is a semi-precious stone that was discovered in 1944. The beautiful purple stone has been found in India, Japan, the Kalahari Desert of South Africa and Canada.
