J18 Lee McCray
Fourteen k gold inlay figure by Navajo silversmith and lapidary artist Lee McCray. The 5/8” x 1” figure has turquoise, mother of pearl, jet and coral inlay on three strands of coral beads. The 24” necklace has 3 1/2” of gold beads at each end.
About the Artist
Lee McCray is one of the finest Navajo silversmith and lapidary artists today.
He is known for his meticulous lapidary work with attention to color and shape. The inlay, for which he is known, is set off by his magnificent lapidary skills. He enjoys working in both silver and gold.
Lee’s early hallmark was “LMc” and “L McCray” in later years.
