Picasso Marble “Howling Coyote” by Zuni fetish carver Fred Weekoty. The 1 ¾” x 1 ½” x 3/8” coyote has turquoise eyes.

 Hunter God of the West. The coyote is respected for his knowledge and survival skills if not for his actions. The master trickster who often tricks himself. He represents humor and the ability to laugh at one's own mistakes.

Zuni fetish carver Fred Weekoty is also a silversmith. He began producing jewelry before 1970, and he also specializes in beads.

One of his favorite fetish carvings is the badger, for which he is known.
